MD, PA and/or NP for Viroqua & West Salem Clinics

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as promoting preventive care and overall wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients
  • Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations
  • Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as CT scans and laboratory tests
  • Provide guidance on home care and self-management of chronic conditions
  • Monitor vital signs and track patient progress
  • Administer vaccinations and immunizations
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and overall wellness
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including ICD-10 coding
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality

  • Excellent diagnostic skills to identify various medical conditions accurately

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification
  • Valid medical license in the state of practice
  • Completion of residency training in Family Medicine
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest medical advancements
