MD, PA and/or NP for Viroqua, West Salem & Tomah Clinics
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Medicine provider (MD / NP / PA) to join our healthcare team. We currently have five clinics throughout the area. La Crosse, Onalaska, Sparta, Viroqua, West Salem & coming soon, a clinic in Tomah!
As a Family Medicine provider, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as promoting preventive care and overall wellness.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients
– Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic conditions
– Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations
– Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as CT scans and laboratory tests
– Provide guidance on home care and self-management of chronic conditions
– Monitor vital signs and track patient progress
– Administer vaccinations and immunizations
– Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and overall wellness
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including ICD-10 coding
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
– Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality

– Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
– Proficiency in performing medical procedures.
– Familiarity with emergency medicine practices for handling urgent cases
– Excellent diagnostic skills to identify various medical conditions accurately – Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
Requirements:
– Medical degree from an accredited institution
– Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification
– Valid medical license in the state of practice
– Completion of residency training in Family Medicine
– Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest medical advancements
